since this is my first post, i think i'll start with some bragging. this is a picture of my husband ,Pete, and myself with our 21 year old son, Dan at our volunteer fire depts. annual banquet. my husband and son are both volunteer firefighters and son is an EMT. this year, the guys at the dept. voted our son EMT of the year and he tied with another fella for firefighter of the year. pretty good for a young guy. he's been on the fire dept. for 5 years, starting as a junior and taking all the training. he plans to make a career of firefighting.
now, off to make christmas candy.
